Encounter Jesus Ministries
is the evangelistic ministry of
Christ For All Nations (CfaN) trained evangelist
Roger Abrol.
​
Following the recommitment of his life to Jesus and a period of study at Portland Bible College in the USA, Roger returned to Belfast, Northern Ireland in the mid 1970s, where he continued to pursue his service for the Kingdom of God.
​During the succeeding years his areas of ministry included preaching the Gospel both indoors and on the streets, Bible teaching, youth outreach, youth pastoring, leading an evangelism team and church leadership. The latter culminating in the founding and leading of Freshwater Christian Fellowship in north Belfast, which he continued to lead for more than a decade.

On retiring from the leadership of Freshwater Christian Fellowship, Roger and his late wife, Carol, visited and spent short periods in several local churches as they sought to identify their new spiritual home.
The quest finally led them to Belfast City Vineyard Church which they recognised to be the home they were looking for. Indeed, this was to be Carol’s final spiritual home on earth before she left to be with the Lord and, at the time of writing, Roger has now been in fellowship there for more than 17 years.
Towards the end of 2023 the Holy Spirit once again began to impress upon Roger the matter of evangelism. Then, in April 2024 the Holy Spirit suddenly opened the door for him to attend a CfaN School of Evangelism programme in England.
This intensive 5 week programme of training, empowerment and impartation, was delivered by leading CfaN trainers and invited guest evangelists.

The programme combined exceptional classroom training with demanding on-the-ground, practical outreach. This included one-to-one personal evangelism, street preaching, crusade meetings and training of local church teams of evangelists in one-to-one outreach.

In 2024 CfaN celebrated its
50th Anniversary and
at the time of writing
has to date recorded
more than 94 million
documented decisions for Christ.
The Holy Spirit moved powerfully during these practical events, resulting in more than 470 documented decisions for Christ during the 5 week period.
On his return to Belfast the Holy Spirit continued increasingly to impress upon Roger the need for workers to be released into the
end-time harvest field.
Thus, Encounter Jesus Ministries was born
with the Holy Spirit directed mandate to
“Do Evangelism and Train Evangelists
so that together we may bring in the Harvest
that God is even now preparing.”
